Why do hoisting machinery need regular cleaning and maintenance?

The working environment of some cranes is poor, and a large number of oil stains and dust will be deposited on the crane. Over time, it will affect the performance of crane accessories, accelerate the aging of accessories, and even have the risk of spontaneous combustion. Therefore, these parts should be cleaned in time. The specific steps are as follows:

First, clean up the dust and other sundries outside with a brush, and then spray the cleaning agent evenly on the place with oil sludge. Pay attention to avoid wires, electrical appliances and other sensitive areas when spraying.

When sensitive areas also need to be cleaned of oil sludge, you can use cloth stained with detergent to erase. After spraying the detergent, you need to wait a few minutes before going to the next step of cleaning. At this time, it is easier to clean it, and then wash it with clean water. Don't forget to spray protective paint, which can reduce the corrosion of accessories.

It is relatively simple to sort out the scale of machine parts. You can remove the scale with hydrochloric acid solution or carbonic acid descaling agent. According to different cleaning classification methods, it can be divided into cold cleaning and hot cleaning:

1. Cold cleaning: use kerosene, gasoline and diesel oil as cleaning agents, put the parts into the oil basin with a mesh screen, wash them with a steel wire brush, and the oil stains sink into the basin bottom through the mesh screen. The cleaned parts can be dried in the air.

However, it should be noted that, for example, when cleaning the oil stains of friction plates, a little gasoline should be used to clean them, while the oil stains of oil resistant rubber parts and leather parts cannot be cleaned with oil. In order to save oil and achieve better cleaning effect, clean the smaller parts with cleaner appearance first. Then clean the larger parts with heavy greasy surface.

2. Hot washing: wash after heating with alkali and emulsifier solution, because engine oil, gear oil, etc. cannot be dissolved in alkali solution, and emulsion will be formed. Therefore, emulsifier should be added to the alkali solution.

The function of emulsifier is: it can penetrate into the oil layer, weaken the binding force between oil and metal, and promote the oil film to break and separate. The solution shall be heated to 70-80 ℃, and the parts shall be placed in the solution for soaking. After cleaning, the parts shall be washed with 60-80 ℃ water, and then dried.
